LFW Drama

London fashion was as star studded as ever this year with Boy George, Alexa Chung, Yasmin Le Bon and Girls Aloud members Sarah Harding and Nicola Roberts all in attendance. But this fabulous fashion event has yet again been cast into controversy. I am of course talking about the events surrounding the use of “plus size” models for the Mark Fast show.
The papers have turned it into a full scale, handbags at dawn, cat fight between designer and stylist and as a result, thrusting the issue of “size zero” models back into the headlines.
The use of “average-size” models is something we should acknowledge and celebrated. Within the fashion world there will always be differences of opinion regarding the use of larger models. The highlighting of the issues behind the scenes should have not become “the story”.

shoulder pads are back!

I know i might seem to be jumping on a bit of a bandwagon but i cannot keep it to myself any longer.
I have fallen in love with the Balmain a/w 09 collection.

It had it all ...

... shoulder pads, blazors, sequins, glitter, daring necklines, biker chic, leather and studs.

What more could a girl ask for??

Paul Boutique has released a new line of bags and purses exclusively on ASOS celebrating the 50 years of Barbie.

Im not usually a fan of Paul Boutique bags but i actually really like these.

They are shiny, pink and plasticy, just like Barbie herself!

Sequins have made a come back this season, and the high street has really stepped up to the challange.

River Island has stunning silver sequined blazor, very similar to the Zara one featured above.

As i work in River Island i can tell you that this item is extremely popular, and s selling out in store pretty fast. Be quick if you want to get your hands on one.

At £69.99 its a bargain.

... well its been a rather long time since i updated you all on my little life. Lots has changed in the past few months.

I now have my very own flat in greater London, Weybridge to be precise. The flat is gorgeous, all new, in a lovely area, and most importantly, stupidly over priced!

Oh and when i say my vey OWN flat i might be telling a wee lie. There is of course the boy here too.

I own furniture!

I also have a job. Only a tiny one.
